Please note that while the COVID-19 vax is being made available by Public Health along with the other routine school vaccinations, it is being made available on a strictly volunteer basis only and there is no requirement for students to receive it.

This is a reminder that parents and caregivers should not drive onto school property to drop off students in the morning or to pick them up after school. The turning circle is not a “kiss and drop” area. It is for special transportation vehicles only. The parking lot is only for school or WCDSB staff, and is usually full.

Please note that when transportation is cancelled, it is cancelled for the entire day. If you chose to drive your children to school today, please remember that you are responsible for picking them up at the end of the day.

You do not have to call the school if your child is absent due to the bus cancellations. However, if your child not a bus student and is absent, please report the absence by calling the office 519-578-7579

All Student transportation cancelled, all schools are open

• Due to the current road conditions, ALL SCHOOL BUSES, TAXIS AND SPECIAL EDUCATION ROUTES operated by the Waterloo Catholic District School Board and Waterloo Region District School Board are cancelled.
• All Public and Catholic Schools are OPEN.
• All Extended Day Childcare Programs are OPEN.
• St. Louis online, daytime, and evening classes are open at all locations.

Due to deteriorating weather conditions, all St. Louis Adult Learning and Continuing Education programs scheduled for this evening are cancelled.

Additionally, all Community Use of Schools permits are cancelled as are all tutoring programs and athletic events.

Due to the expected snowfall this afternoon into this evening, all today’s elementary basketball and volleyball games will be POSTPONED. Coaches will communicate the new dates once they have been determined.

REGISTRATION IS ON!!

JUNIOR KINDERGARTEN (CHILDREN BORN IN 2019)

NEW SENIOR KINDERGARTEN (CHILDREN BORN IN 2018)

Registration will be held at 

Canadian Martyrs Catholic Elementary School on

Monday, February 13th from 10am to 7pm      AND     Wednesday, February 15th from 10am to 3pm

Please call the school to arrange an appointment time!

Please be sure to bring the following documentation with you:

• Catholic Baptismal Certificate
• Proof of Age and Legal Name (birth certificate, passport, permanent resident card etc.)
• Proof of Status in Canada if Applicable
• Proof of address (we cannot accept a drivers license as proof – can be utility bill, lease/purchase agreement, bank statement, etc – we just need to see the top portion showing name and address)

To all families preparing for Confirmation at St. Anthony Daniel Parish:

Reminder of our upcoming meeting this Thursday, January 19 @ 7PM.

Would you please use the church doors to join us, as you are able (there is also a meeting happening in the Parish Life Centre).

For those of you unable to join us in person, we will be sending out a recording of the meeting by Friday, as well as a copy of the handout we are are giving out (Form for Confirmation Sponsor Information, Potential Confirmation Name, and Confirmation Date).

If you have yet to send Sarah a copy of your Confirmation Candidate’s Baptismal certificate (unless they were baptized at St. Anthony Daniel), please do so as soon as you’re able:  smounstevenbertling@hamiltondiocese.com
