The Just Justice group at Canadian Martyrs School is once again hosting our Thanksgiving Food Drive from October 2 – 13. We are collecting food for the St. Vincent de Paul Society at the St. Anthony Daniel Parish.
The items needed the most are cereal, biscuits, prepared meals (e.g. Sidekicks), canned fish and meat, canned fruit, pasta sauce, soups, canned stew, rice and Kraft dinner.
Thank you for helping us feed the hungry!
Registration is now open for Saturday Skills Builder for students in Grades 7 and 8.

Thank you to everyone for coming out to last night’s Meet the Staff evening. We had an excellent turnout and it was great to meet so many of our community. The weather was perfect and there were smiling faces all round as people enjoyed the barbecue, socialized, and visited classrooms.
We are fortunate to have such a wonderful, supportive community.
We are looking for volunteers who have some time to spare during the daytime, to assist with our Strong Start reading program. Training will be given. If you are interested please contact the school.
We are holding our Meet the Staff evening and barbecue on Thursday, September 14, from 4:30 – 6:30 pm.
Remember Me Catering will be offering burgers and hot dogs for sale from 4:30 pm. A combo offering a choice of a 4oz All Beef Burger, or a Jumbo All Beef Hotdog, or a Jumbo Veggie dog, plus a single serve chips and bottle of water will be available for purchase at $5 per combo.
Classrooms will be open and families are invited to meet their children’s teachers at any time between 4:30 and 6:30. Please note that teachers will not be commenting on students’ progress during this evening. The evening will end at 6:30 pm promptly.
We look forward to meeting everyone on Thursday!
