Dear Crusader families
We are excited to welcome you back! School begins on Tuesday, September 5th at 9:10 am for students in Grades 1 – 8. (There is a staggered entry for kindergarten students, and their teachers will inform parents of children in their classes).
On Tuesday teachers will go out on the yard to meet their classes when the bell rings. Please have your child wait in the yard at the back of the school until the bell rings. You will be able to find out your child’s class by end of day tomorrow, when we have our online “sneak peek” on School Cash Online.
We ask you to bear the following in mind:
- To avoid congestion on the yard, please drop students off at the edge of the school property and do not accompany them onto the yard. We have staff outside supervising students in the mornings and afternoons, and they will keep them safe.
- Please do not drive onto school property. Students are walking to and from the school building and we wish to avoid accidents. There is only adequate room for staff parking.
- Dogs are not permitted on school property. Some students may have allergies or be afraid of dogs. It is also unfair on the dogs when children may wish to pet them.
- Please do not have your children playing on the play equipment. It has not passed the safety inspection and is unsafe. Our custodian has been putting up signs and tape around it, but unfortunately people keep ripping this off.
