Hello Crusader Parents!  We need your help!

After school by our primary door can get a little chaotic.  Currently we have some of you that are picking up your children and bringing siblings.  This is great!  We would ask that you keep a close eye on your children after school as we are noticing some unsafe play.  Many students are climbing on the playground equipment in an unsafe manner, tossing sticks to and at each other and playing very roughly with each other – and this is with their parents on site!  PLEASE help us by finding your children quickly and heading home with them.

Secondly, we have noticed an increase of dogs on the yard after school.  This is not allowed.  Our school grounds are a dog-free zone.  We have many small children (and some parents) who are very intimidated by dogs.  Please do not bring your dog to school to pick up your children, or if you must, please designate a meeting spot further away from the building to meet your children.

Lastly, we realize that it is only the first week, but we are noticing a very large number of parents on the yard hanging out by the playground equipment.  As we have said before, this makes for a very unsafe situation.  We would kindly ask that in the morning, you bring your children to school, wish them well and head on your way.  At the end of the day, we would ask that you refrain from allowing your children to play on the equipment.  Pick them up and head home with them.  This will allow our staff to supervise effectively in the morning and after school.

If you have any questions or concerns about this, please let the office know.

Thanks for your continued support and cooperation Crusaders!
